Fairport Convention

Since the current Fairport Convention line-up (Leslie, Pegg, Sanders, Nicol, Conway) came together in 1998 they’ve not put a foot wrong. Indeed, each successive album has, arguably, been better than the last. Myths And Heroes proves no exception as they set yet another high bar to be surpassed as they contemplate a follow up to coincide with their 50th anniversary.

Veteran folk-rock band Fairport Convention have announced their 2015 Winter Tour which will coincide with the release of their first studio album in four years.

American rock icon Alice Cooper will headline the opening day of Fairport’s Cropredy Convention on Thursday 8 August 2013. It is expected to be Cooper’s only UK public appearance during the year.
