Bristol Folk Festival has announced the finalists of Isambard Folk Award. The award is co-sponsored by Folk Radio UK and Songs from the Shed this year so we’ve been busy looking through nearly 100 entries to come up with a short-list of five. Arctic Circle have produced a serie of free shows at union Chapel which kick off at midday this saturday 6th November with Evening Chorus, Pengilly’s + Elena Dana & the Pirates.

Feel the Folk are ready to roll again on Friday 2nd July at the Grain Barge in Bristol. It’s going to be quite a night, one that I’m sure many Frukie fans will enjoy as The Hand, Ichi and Evening Chorus are all going to be performing.
