Donovan, ‘60s legend, icon, poet and songwriter celebrates his 70th birthday with a special concert at The London Palladium on 6th May 2016. He will perform on stage in a theatrical ‘Beat Café’ with his band which will include Danny Thompson.
FRUK talks to the legendary Donovan who is to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall Of Fame in June 2014 and whose latest album, Shadows Of Blue, finds him exploring his love of country music.

Donovan will be presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award at BBC Radio 2’s Folk Awards 2011 on Monday 7 February, as well performing an acoustic version of one of his classic songs.
