Since 2012 members of Shooglenifty have been regularly collaborating with musicians of Rajasthan, they have just launched a crowdfunding campaign and prize draw to raise funds for the Rajasthani Coronavirus Relief Fund. There are some excellent prizes.
Shooglenifty & Dhun Dhora have realised a beautiful dream and produced an album of exciting, intoxicating, exceptional music. This collaboration takes that Shoogle spark of adventure to new levels.
Among the many great performances at this year’s Shrewsbury Folk Festival was a performance of The Train by Show of Hands who were joined by Dayam Khan, a member of Dhun Dhora of Rajasthan who were at the festival performing with Shooglenifty.
