We chat with internationally acclaimed artist David Suff about his new book “Walking on Skylark Ridge” – part nature diary, part autobiography, this collection of writing and drawings documents our relationship with the local natural world through one year.
Along with an accompanying film with original music by Martin Simpson and Kathryn Tickell, David Suff’s ‘River of Life’, an autobiographical pen drawing stretching over 30 feet long, will feature in a major new exhibition of his work at the Goldmark Gallery.
Bright Phoebus, Lal and Mike Waterson’s 1972 folk-noir masterpiece is to be reissued. Under the supervision of David Suff (Topic/Fledging) and Marry Waterson (daughter of Lal), the album has been remastered from the original tapes.
