Made by band member Peter Timmins, The Cowboy Junkies reveal their new video for ‘Don’t Let It Bring You Down’, one of their Neil Young covers taken from their new album ‘Songs Of The Recollection’.

On their covers album ‘Songs Of The Recollection’, featuring songs from Neil Young, Bowie, Dylan, Gordon Lightfoot, Gram Parsons, Vic Chesnutt and more, the Cowboy Junkies have put together a highly engaging stop-gap while we wait for the follow up to Ghosts.

30 years out from their groundbreaking 1988 album, “The Trinity Sessions,” the Cowboy Junkies continue to evolve, with clever arrangements and new stories to tell. All That Reckoning is their most overtly political album to date, cementing their status as a great band.

Cowboy Junkies will release All That Reckoning, the band’s first new recording since The Wilderness (2012) on July 13, 2018 via Proper Records and return to the UK for live dates in November. Watch their video for the title track.

The fourth and final instalment of The Nomad Series, entitled ‘The Wilderness’, sees a laid-back return to the Cowboy Junkies’ musical comfort zone, with satisfying results.

With the October 2011 release of Sing In My Meadow, Cowboy Junkies continue an ambitious schedule of four releases over an 18 month period, collectively titled “The Nomad Series.” The album follows the critically acclaimed Demons and Renmin Park.

The Cowboy Junkies are back with a new project titled “The Nomad Series” to include the release of four albums over the next 18 months. The first, Remnin Park, was released this week.
