Taken from their forthcoming career-spanning anthology ‘In A Lifetime’  which celebrates their 50-year career, Clannad have today, ahead of their farewell tour, released a new single ‘A Celtic Dream’, watch the accompanying music video.

Having sold 15 million records worldwide and with eight Top 10 U.K. albums to their name, multi-award-winning Clannad today announce their ‘In a Lifetime’ The Farewell World Tour and new Anthology deluxe set.

Turas 1980 is to be heartily welcomed, and not just as the only available, live recording of a band at the first peak of their development. It’s a recording of a concert that transports you there, it’s as close as you’ll get to having been there on the night.

Padraig Duggan, one of the founders of Irish group Clannad has died at the age of 67. He had been a member of Clannad for 40 years, starting way back in 1970 where it all began at Leo’s Tavern in Donegal. We take a look back at their early years.
