Cat Power is celebrating the 20th anniversary of her landmark album, The Greatest, with a new Redux EP, out January 23, 2026. Recorded with her Dirty Delta Blues band, the EP features a newly finished James Brown cover, “Try Me.” A special anniversary tour, performing The Greatest in its entirety, will reach the UK and Ireland in November 2026, including a show at London’s Roundhouse and Dublin’s Vicar Street

On ‘Cat Power Sings Dylan’, the audience’s reaction is an outpouring of love and gratitude deservedly raining down on a timeless set of music and an artist with the depth of understanding, integrity and feeling to pull it off. What a night this must have been.  

Following the release of her recent Covers album, Cat Power has surprised all with a new cover single of The Rolling Stones’ “You Got The Silver” from their 1969 album Let it Bleed.

Cat Power shares another new song from her new album ‘Sun’, this time it’s the opening track “Cherokee” which has also had the remix treatment from Nicolas Jaar.

Sun is the first album of original material from Cat Power in over six years. Chan Marshall performed and produced Sun herself in various locations including a studio she built in Malibu. Download the track ‘Ruin’ below.

Katie Kim is the pseudonym of Dublin based Katie Sullivan. Her music is surreal and beautifully atmospheric with an edge, think Cat Power and Mazzy Star.

Despite the choice of instrument on Ukulele Songs it is Eddie Vedder’s songs and sonorous voice that dominate your attention as well as some great duets with Glen Hansard and Cat Power.
