Calan are to release their new album Kistvaen on 3 April which will coincide with an April Tour and a special one-off performance at St David’s Hall in Cardiff, with the BBC National Orchestra.

Calan announce compilation album Deg |10 – a combination of their favourite tracks along with 3 brand new songs, 2 live recordings and 2 brand new remixes of previous singles Apparition and Synnwyr Solomon.

This year’s Costa Del Folk takes place in Portugal featuring an all-star line-up including Show of Hands, Seth Lakeman, Steve Tilston, Sam Kelly & The Lost Boys as well as sessions, a late night folk club, all in the luxury of the Hotel Grande Real Santa Eulalia 5* Resort And Spa in Albufeira.

Solomon, the fifth album from Welsh group Calan, is an amazing album, it sounds wonderful, fresh and exciting from the very first listen and continues to enthral on every subsequent visit. Don’t hesitate in buying a copy.

Welsh band CALAN have released a video for Apparition, an original song from their new album Solomon based on some entries in the diary of Edmund Jones speaking about the fairy realm in south Wales. They are on tour now.
