We rejoin Arborea on Day 3 of their guest tour blog as they ride into Pittsburgh for a gig. They are joined by their friend and Philadelphia based guitarist-composer Eric Carbonara.

Our Song of the Day comes from Portland, Maine based Meghan Yates and the Reverie Machine whom I was introduced to by Arborea….a voice that’s deep and warm like dark ambered honey.

In a new guest feature we join Maine based wife and husband Avant Folk duo Arborea as they head out on their US tour providing an intimate insight into their life on the road.

On August 23rd at Johnny Brenda’s in Philadelphia there is a very special concert taking place featuring artists that have all featured on FRUK: Daniel Bachman, Glenn Jones, Arborea, and Ryley Walker.

Arborea who recently performed at the Fanø Free Folk Festival on the Island of Fano in Denmark have revealed a surprising cover of CCR classic ‘Bad Moon Rising’ and transform it entirely.
