Anthology Recordings

“Maybe I’m Dreaming” is a new Anthology Recordings compilation that delves into the isolated wilds of the private pressing, where production quirks, late-night tape hiss, and one-man studio dreams were not necessarily a choice but the hand you were dealt. Documenting a spirit that’s more homespun, sometimes lonelier, and often a little weirder, listen to the first single, “Just Whistle” by the Watson Brothers Band.

A new anthology and art book celebrates the music and art of American folk and pop singer-songwriter, painter, and experimental musician Norma Tanega – she left an enduring expression of what it means to be free.

A compilation featuring two essential live albums and unearthed, previously unreleased 1971/72 material from Träd, Gräs och Stenar, Sweden’s greatest underground music export.

FOLLOW THE SUN (mid May on Anthology) collects outsider pop, folk and psych from Australia in the 1960s and 70s. Check out Mata Hari’s ‘Easy’ and Megan Sue Hicks for a flavour.
