This willingness to experiment has helped produce a piece of work that, if there is any justice in the world, will be recognised as one of the groundbreaking American folk albums of this century.

Anna and Elizabeth announce UK & Ireland tour dates. Their new album is due to be released in 2018, read about the inspiration behind the album which explores songs from their rural Virginia and Vermont homes.

For their latest single, old-time duo Anna & Elizabeth stretch their wings as they shift into the avant-garde with Hop High / Here in the Vineyard. This set takes the minimalist approach of their previous work and moves into the avant-garde, into a present-day space outside the museum where these stories live, breathe, and grow.

Our Song of the Day comes via folk duo Anna & Elizabeth with a new video for Orfeo featuring beautiful shadow puppets. It was filmed at New York’s Jalopy Theatre which promotes and support traditional roots music.
