Hands Up for Trad have announced their inductees for the 2016 Scottish Traditional Music Hall of Fame, honouring the hard work and dedication of musicians and industry people to Scottish traditional music scene throughout their lives – Including Barbara Dickson, Battlefield Band & the late Michael Marra.

The sister of Andy M Stewart, the former frontman of Silly Wizard, has launched an appeal to help improve Andy’s quality of life following a deterioration in his health over the last four years to the extent that he has gradually lost his business and livelihood.
