Welsh traditional band Allan Yn Y Fan will be celebrating their 22nd year on the road with the release of their first single in September, followed by a major European tour in the Autumn.

Leading Welsh folk band Allan Yn Y Fan will play their first concert in Neuadd Dyfi, Aberdyfi on Thursday 10th August in a special event supported by the Arts Council of Wales “Night Out” scheme.

Combining a mix of original compositions and their arrangements of traditional music and song, NEWiD is as fine a showcase as you’ll find of their unique vision of “Celtic music for the 21st century” and is sure to become a firm favourite of long-term fans and newcomers alike.

Called one of the ‘best voices in England’ by Ralph McTell, Bob Fox has a busy month ahead as he tours across England and Wales. Dates include Tredegar House Folk Festival in South Wales. Watch this performance from Songs from the Shed from 2013.

Welsh band Allan Yn Y Fan not only continue to go from strength to strength but have also grown. They have just announced their first line up change since 2008. The original four band members – Geoff Cripps, Chris Jones, Lind Simmonds and Kate Strudwick are to be joined by by lead-singer Catrin O’Neill and fiddler Alan Cooper.
