Scottish folk duo Donald WG Lindsay and Alasdair Roberts announce their first duo album, Welcome Home My Dearie. Recorded live in Glasgow, the album features a unique blend of pipes, guitars, and vocals, with traditional and original songs. In 2012, Alasdair Roberts and Scottish Gaelic singer Màiri Morrison released their debut album Urstan. Today, they announce their long-awaited follow-up on Drag City – Remembered in Exile: Songs and Ballads from Nova Scotia. Listen to their lead single ‘Màiri Nighean Dòmhnaill’.

Alasdair Roberts’ book of collected lyrics, Library of Aethers, is out now, and he also kicks off a collaborative UK tour this month with Scottish piper and traditional singer Donald WG Lindsay.

In 2005 a film was made of the Green Man Festival in Wales. It has been unreleased and unseen for nearly 20 years and features performances by Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy, Alasdair Roberts and Joanna Newsom, among others.
