I happened upon Keston Cobblers’ Club on myspace recently. After watching this video I think you’ll agree that they are something very special and are certainly worth keeping an eye on as they are bound to get very popular!

Kate McGarrigle, the Canadian singer songwriter best known for her performances with her sister, Anna, as the McGarrigle Sisters, and mother of singers Rufus and Martha Wainwright, has died at the age of 63 following a long battle with cancer.

Tim Hart, a founding member of UK folk group Steeleye Span, has died at the age of 61, it has been announced. Hart, who left the band in 1983, died of lung cancer on Christmas Eve in La Gomera on the Canary Islands. Steeleye Span was formed in 1969 when Hart and singer Maddy Prior teamed up with bass player Ashley Hutchings, formerly of Fairport Convention. The band made more …
