Scottish folksinger Emily Smith has announced the release of ‘Songs for Christmas‘, an album that’s been inspired by her ever popular annual Christmas show. She’ll also be a guest on a Christmas special Mark Radcliffe’s Folk Show on BBC Radio 2.

We have great pleasure in premiering the doublesided single from Julia Meijer titled Ocean / England which was launched this week at The Jericho Tavern, Oxford. Although she will be a new name to most of you we don’t believe that will be for very long.

This year’s MG Alba Scots Trad Music Awards at The Caird Hall in Dundee proved yet again it was the event of the year on the Scottish music calendar and we were fortunate enough to be there for it all!
