Isobel Campbell and Mark Lanegan have joined forces again to release a third album titled Hawk due for release in the UK on 16th August through V2/Cooperative Music. They will be touring the UK and Europe in September this year.

Johnny Flynn has just released a new animated video for his powerful new single ‘Barnacled Warship’ which also features on his album Been Listeneing. The video is directed by Christian DeVita. I know I only recently posted a live video of Sharon Van Etten, but how can I resist when she gets the Vincent Moon treatment over on La Blogotheque, I couldn’t wait. How he manages to capture so many artists I have no idea, but there is a magic about his camerawork that is unmatched. He went to New York to meet Sharon to do this piece.
