Robin Denselow specialises in both music and politics. He has worked as a producer and reporter for BBC Panorama and Newsnight, while also writing on folk, rock and world music for The Guardian and other publications. He was the producer of the BBC4 series Brasil, Brasil, is the author of When The Music’s Over and co-author of The Electric Muse and the Electric Muse Revisited, and compiled the 4-set CD that accompanied the re-issue in 2021.
