Rob catches up with Alasdair Roberts during his Pangs Tour to talk about his new album, his early influences from traditional folk to Glasgow’s underground DIY scene and his need to always be creating something new. An obsession he has continually rewarded us with.

Rob caught up with Modern Studies in Birmingham while they were on tour promoting their debut album ‘Swell to Great.’ While the tour is over the momentum created by the reception of their album isn’t as they prepare for their BBC Quay Session in Glasgow next month.

Blue Rose Code put on a spectacular performance at Edinburgh’s Queen’s Hall for his Homecoming show. One which featured some of Scotland’s finest musicians, as well as a more than fifty members of Edinburgh and Glasgow Contemporary choirs – a musical celebration of everything that’s wonderful about this region of the country.
