Marisa Anderson & William Tyler deliver a diverse and shifting set of songs, using repetition, space, peace and alarm. Lost Futures is a finely composed and beautifully performed album from these two highly creative players.

Cameron Knowler’s first full-length solo album features fourteen unhurried yet concise vignettes that are quietly adventurous and unusual. It’s an assured album with Cameron’s playing giving the music a certain charm and undeniable power.

Adrian Freedman’s “Kindred Souls” is steeped in musical diversity and cultures…like nothing I have heard before. It is an immensely rich and engaging listening experience. One to savour and enjoy multiple times and the delivery of such powerful and therapeutic music is beautifully timed.

On Some Heavy Hand, Cath and Phil Tyler’s subtly intricate performances, as on all their releases, enrich the material even further. This compilation of obscurities is a beautifully weighted insight into a splendid catalogue of music.

Mind Maintenance is less about its individual tracks as it is about being a continual, looping listening experience. There is something wholly magnetising about this rare music and its insistently repetitive nature that is hard to switch from. Enchanting, exciting, beautifully performed music.

There is so much more to be found throughout Axacan, but the overall result is a sprawling, painstakingly created record by a progressive artist that will take many listens to fully digest. Axacan is Daniel Bachman’s most accomplished work yet.

Earth Bow is diverse, immersive & sometimes intense & powerful, what shines through is Sarah Jane’s unshakable belief in and love for our planet – the lifeblood of all of her music. It should be heard by everyone.

It seems Sarah-Jane Summers & Juhani Silvola cannot put a foot wrong and The Smoky Smirr o Rain is a stunning addition to an already impressive catalogue of music. Written and played with skill, flair and feeling, this album is vital and quite wonderful.

Like Toby Hay’s ‘Morning / Evening Raga’ album, Home Recordings Vol 1 is instrumental guitar music at its purest and there is much beauty in its simplicity and control.

Bill Mackay and Nathan Bowles ‘Keys’ was an album we were excited about and it delivers at every turn. An engaging album with a glorious set of instrumentals and sang numbers. Plus new video ‘Dowsing’.
