The Wood Brothers return with their sixth, longing-themed album ‘Paradise’ which turns up the heat somewhat for a rockier, more electric sound…and a little funkier too.

As well as performing at the BBC Folk Awards tomorrow The Unthanks have revealed a new animated video for ‘Died for Love’. They are touring across Scotland in May and are appearing at a number of UK festivals in the summer including Green Man Festival.

This is music with an edge: tough and palpably volatile…Terse in approach, but richly contoured musically and with a scale that feels cinematic – Bloodline goes after an atmosphere and realizes it vividly.

The wonderfully original Blowzabella will be hitting the road in May to play a series of dates across England as well as headline the main stage at FolkEast in Suffolk on Saturday 20 August – one you don’t want to miss!
