London-based songwriter Elanor Moss has announced her signing to the esteemed Merge Records and has simultaneously released her new single and video, “Again, My Love;” her first new music since 2023’s Cosmic EP and serves as a preview for a new project expected in 2026.
“Again, My Love” is a contemplative piece built on muted horns, guitar, and saxophone. It finds Moss navigating the complexities of transition and personal growth, as captured in the opening lines: “Again, my love // We’re at another open door again // Something lost for something gained again.”
Moss describes the track as a reflection on change and the necessity of loss for transformation. She shares:
“It’s a song that reflects on change, the nature of change being something that requires you to lose things, and that’s okay, and actually really good. I wrote it when I was really having a rough time. I was living a troubadour existence for the past couple of years, flitting between different places, and the uncertainty of that way of living was really getting to me. I think that one is a song for me, that I was trying to make a bit more universal.”

Growing up in a creative, devoutly Catholic and homeschooled family, Moss began playing music at church. She later discovered songwriting greats like Leonard Cohen and Joni Mitchell while studying English literature in York, which inspired her to write her own material after leaving the faith.
Following the release of her well-received Citrus and Cosmic EPs, Moss has toured with acts such as Christian Lee Hutson and Cassandra Jenkins, and performed at major festivals including Green Man and Pitchfork London. “Again, My Love” signals a significant new chapter for this rising artist.
