Chicago trio Glyders have released “Moon Eyes,” the latest single and video from their forthcoming Drag City LP, Forever, and announced a full US tour. The track tempers the group’s road-honed jams with a wistful elegance, its formal rock architecture recalling the classicist forms of Creedence and The Band. A meditation on time and fate, the accompanying video, directed by Sean Pierce and Karen Schmitz, captures the band on a glowing trip to a fire pit.
Forever lands as the group’s “first real band album”, cementing a lineup that sees founders Joshua Condon (guitar/vocals) and Eliza Weber (bass) joined by drummer Joe Seger. Honed by extensive touring across the US and Europe, this streamlined unit drives mellow licks with a deep, rolling bottom end. Recorded by the band at their Studio “G” in Chicago and mixed by Cooper Crain, the album crackles with raw, communal joy.
Forever is set to be released on November 21st, 2025. In the lead-up to its release, Glyders will hit the road next month in the US, starting with two sets at Seattle’s Freakout Fest, before stretching the jams well into December for a trip down South.
