Taken from their new album, Inland See (out on September 26, 2025, via Drag City), Bitchin Bajas have shared a live video for “Skylarking.” Drag City write: Their new album was a live endeavour, written on the road and tracked with barely any overdubs — so it’s only natural that this 8-minute live video of “Skylarking,” directed and edited by Michael Gaertner, looks and sounds like Bajas on full blast.
The band, composed of Cooper Crain, Rob Frye, and Daniel Quinlivan, wrote most of the music for the new album while on the road, a unique experience for them. The recording process for Inland See took place at Electrical Audio, where they captured a sense of natural space by recording all together in one room. The band also avoided adding any reverb after the fact, ensuring that all the sounds were captured live.
