This week’s Monday Morning Brew playlist opens with a track from a new album that I received over the weekend – Grace Stewart-Skinner’s debut album, Auchies Spikkin’ Auchie. It is a deeply personal and culturally significant project that serves as an “ethnomusicological postcard” of her home village, Avoch, a historic fishing village on the Black Isle in the Scottish Highlands (more here).
