Last Friday saw the release of Màiri Morrison and Alasdair Roberts‘ new Gaelic/English album Remembered in Exile: Songs and Ballads from Nova Scotia, the long-awaited follow-up to their 2012 album Urstan.
Harrison Reid recorded the duo performing the album opener Màiri nighean Dòmhnaill. Unlike the album version, with its drums and subtle folk-rock edge, this features just the two of them, with Alasdair on guitar.
