This week’s KLOF offering is an extra-long one, so there is not going to be the usual long introduction that I make, but, among those recently reviewed or featured on Folk Radio are new releases from Mali Obomsawin, Marisa Anderson, Burd Ellen, One Leg One Eye (Ian Lynch of Lankum), Marlais, Goat, Sharron Kraus, Elspeth Anne, Trevor Beales and David A. Jaycock.
The rest of the mix is made up of new and forthcoming releases, which combined, make this a particularly atmospheric offering. There’s also a live track in there from Henry Parker, taken from his forthcoming album ‘Live After Lammas’ which you can pre-order via Bandcamp here.
I couldn’t resist a couple of tracks from the new tribute album “Spirit of Clive”, a 29-track tribute album to the music of Clive Palmer & Cob. The monies raised will go towards restoring recently discovered rare recordings of Clive from the 1960s onwards and producing a documentary about Clive. Order it via Bandcamp and read more here.
Enjoy
