Fresh from performing two nights at the brilliant Celtic Connections, the Irish quartet The Jeremiahs have announced they will be bringing their live show to England for an eight-night tour this February 2022 (dates below).
The Jeremiahs are an Irish folk band (previously featured on Folk Radio) that comprises four musicians who have come together with the common goal of writing, composing and performing folk songs and music. They have travelled extensively, bringing their music to audiences far and wide and are heralded as a live band not to be missed. With a wonderful mixture of newly composed songs and tunes in the folk genre and a very well selected catalogue of older folk songs, they are sure to rouse all of the emotions.
Hailing from County Dublin is singer Joe Gibney on vocals. On fiddle, viola and vocals is County Cork’s Niamh Varian-Barry (formerly of Solas). On flutes and whistles is the French-born Julien Bruneteau and on Guitar is Dublin born James Ryan.
They will be playing tracks from their two previous studio albums (available here http://thejeremiahs.ie/new-products) and some great new material from their third album, due for release before the summer.
