John Elliott (The Little Unsaid) is to stream an online concert from the beautiful St Giles’ Church, London, on Sunday 12th December at 6:30pm GMT. He will be performing songs from his latest album December Songs, also a Featured Album of the Month on Folk Radio. In our album review here, Thomas Blake says:
What makes this one even more special is that it was mostly recorded live on borrowed equipment, in a matter of days, in Elliott’s flat. The atmospheric hush that is present throughout was born out of the necessity to play quietly for fear of disturbing the neighbours. But despite the limitations (or perhaps because of them), it is hard to see how this album could have come out any better.
The concert is free to watch on The Little Unsaid’s YouTube Channel, there’ll be a tip jar link on the night and 50% of donations will go to the Single Homeless Project, a brilliant charity working to prevent homelessness and help vulnerable and socially excluded people in London transform their lives.
The stream will stay live for a limited number of days after the show so that you can watch it again in case you miss it or the time zone scuppers you.
