In this week’s Folk Show we have a number of tracks that have been featured on Folk Radio recently including: TRÚ whose new video we recently premiered for Rebel Song here. Adam Holmes new single If You Ever Needed Me which was our Song of the Day – we strongly recommend you check that video out. We also premiered the new video from Twelfth Day for their new single What’s Real which can watch here. We’ve included a track from The Rheingan Sisters‘ latest album ‘Reciever’ which they are finally taking to the road this autumn. And finally, a track from Alasdair Roberts and Völvur which we reviewed here.
Among some other favourites are three Martin Carthy tracks who turned 80 this year…not that we need that as an excuse… we just love him so.
I took the photo for this week’s mix just a couple of weeks ago while walking in woodland early one morning on the Quantocks here in Somerset.
Enjoy
