For those that missed last nights Spell Song concert held at London’s Natural History Museum, a fundraiser for the Urban Nature Project, it is now available to stream on YouTube (until the end of May) which you can watch below. We recently interviewed Jackie Morris, Karine Polwart, Seckou Keita, Julie Fowlis, Kris Drever, Jim Molyneux, Rachel Newton and Beth Porter from the Spell Songs ensemble as well as the Natural History Museum’s Head of Garden Activities, Lauren Hyams about the Urban Nature Project (read it here) which gives a great insight into the project and how music, art and education have helped play their part in raising awareness of nature and biodiversity.
This free evening of conservation, art and live music is to help raise funds to protect nature, lead cutting-edge research and develop a new biodiverse garden which you can read about here. Every donation helps the NHM connect communities with urban nature and create advocates for our planet.
