The Hudson Records Listening Club is back for a new series starting this Sunday 21st March at 10:30 am with Brian Finnegan‘s Hunger of the Skin (reviewed here). Join Hudson Records once again as they celebrate and explore the wonderful albums produced by their own artists, friends and favourites!
Fuelled by the extraordinary events that began in March 2020, when the world hunkered down and a slow recalibration of life began, people swept off the streets, out of each other’s lives, each other’s arms, Brian Finnegan’s new album ‘Hunger Of The Skin’ is a collection of music in praise of human touch, oneness, real connection and real embodied joy.
The new album from the Flook frontman, features a genre-crossing cast of 24 musicians and poets, 8 tracks of newly composed original music, written in March and April 2020. It was co-produced with Seán Óg Graham and recorded in Bannview Studios, Portglenone and multiple home studios around the world.
Join Hudson Records to listen to ‘Hunger of the Skin’ in its entirety on Sunday morning with commentary and insights from Brian, Seán Óg Graham & Liam Bradley. Join the band online to chat and discuss the album throughout the listening club, say hello in the comments area. You can watch the live stream on Hudson Records’ YouTube channel, subscribe, like and follow here to receive a notification just before the broadcast.
