I just wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I won’t dwell too much on what a strange year it has been but will say that it has been a remarkable one for folk music. We have received some lovely messages from listeners to our weekly shows which have highlighted the important role music has played in getting them through such challenging times.
Going forward into 2021 it is important we continue to support those artists who carry on giving and creating such great music – so buy their music, donate, watch their live stream gigs, share your music discoveries with others. Just take a look through some of the albums our team have chosen in their end of year lists as a reminder of 2020.
