This is the first in a new series of extra mixes to help keep folks company in these unusual times. There are no criteria for the selecting the music played, it’s a spontaneous mix where I just sit down, play a tune and see where it takes me. I’ve just finished putting this one together this morning so excuse there being no in-depth details besides the playlist below.
You can expect music from different periods and genres…it opens to Scotland’s Dean Owens with Karine Polwart – the newest track on there – well, it’s actually from his new ‘Best of’ album on Eel Pie Records (The Man from Leith), which is ace.
In order to keep Folk Radio running we are now more reliant on your generosity than ever before, so if you can make a one-off or regular donation to help keep things ticking along it would be greatly appreciated.
You can donate via Paypal – Details here
or via GoCardless (direct debit) – Details here.
Enjoy the mix and stay safe
