Song of the Day: Charley Crockett – 9 LB Hammer

Our Song of the Day comes from Charley Crockett with 9lb Hammer. The session by OurVinyl (whose sessions you can watch here). They only record 48 sessions each year so, as you can see below, they put a lot of effort into selecting a location. For Crockett, this session the was recorded at High Cotton Recording outside of Nashville, TN and is now available as an EP on streaming services (can’t confirm if there’s been a physical). The track also features on his latest album The Valley.
