The Poozies, featuring Mary Macmaster on harp, Eilidh Shaw & Sarah McFadyen on fiddles and Tia Files on guitar, have just shared a live recording of them from the Edinburgh Harp Festival performing ‘Form Your Circle’, a tune by Irish fiddler Liz Carroll.
Eilidh & Sarah start in unison before they break it down and rejoin before they all embark on a wonderful groove. The whole affair is entrancing from start to finish and they make it look so damn effortless…the mid-point firecracker is impossible to keep your feet still to and they just keep taking it skyward from there.
