Taken from their forthcoming EP “Eta Carinae” released on October 11th 2019, Rob Heron & The Tea Pad Orchestra have shared a video (by Darren O’Kane) for the first single “Swinging Like a Brick”. Much like the gorgeous EP artwork (see below) by illustrator, designer and musician Jake Smithies, it contains all those classic vintage 50s ingredients we’ve come to love this band for, all delivered with their own unique modern twist… not forgetting the obligatory alcohol which is sherry wine today.
They also throw in a quick lesson in rapid-wall-construction. If you want to hear them performing some of this new material then be sure to catch them on one (or more) of their October tour dates (details below).
The EP will be available on streaming, download, and limited edition 10″ vinyl.
