Taken from their forthcoming album ‘Battlefield Dance Floor’ (out on 27 September 2019 via Proper Records), Show of Hands have today released their first album single “Lost”.
They shared the following on the song: “On the surface, Lost is inspired by the story of doomed sailor Donald Crowhurst who died while competing in the 1968 single-handed, round the world Golden Globe Race – but with a deeper theme summed up by Steve as ‘a maritime-themed song about masculine despair.'”
As mentioned in our previous news about the album, joining Steve Knightley, Phil Beer and Miranda Sykes on this release is Cormac Byrne. Read more about it here.
The album is released on 27 September and is available to pre-order on CD, double vinyl and digital. The double vinyl version features two bonus tracks.
