The 26-year-old singer-songwriter and multi-award winning guitarist Molly Tuttle is on something of a roll right now with an appearance at Newport Folk Festival where she was asked to join the all-woman historic jam that featured country legend Dolly Parton which we reviewed here. To top it, she’ll be doing dates this month with Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit, Old Crow Medicine Show followed by November dates with Hiss Golden Messenger whose new album Terms of Surrender is released next month… and don’t miss her UK dates in October (dates below).
More recently she made her national television debut on CBS This Morning performing “Light Came In (Power Went Out),” “Messed With My Mind,” and “Take the Journey,” from her breakthrough album When You’re Ready. Watch all three below:
For the past seven years, the bluegrass community has had Tuttle to itself. It’s time to share her with a much wider world. She’s ready. Mike Davies, Folk Radio UK
