Following on from their 2016 debut album and their 2018 EP BrotherWind, Glasgow-based folk band Gnoss returned earlier this year with their brilliant new album ‘Drawn from Deep Water’.
In his review of the album, Aaron Jackson concluded: “Drawn From Deep Water is their best yet and an assured next step. The material indicates the progression Gnoss have made since their debut and augurs well for their futures. No doubt this release will be supported by live shows which showcase the band’s abilities further. As such, I recommend checking this album out and getting yourself along to a gig. You won’t be disappointed.”
He was, of course, correct on all fronts and you can get yourself along to a gig very soon as Gnoss announce their biggest UK tour to date which kicks off this Autumn (see details below).
Here they are performing The Moul Head at Festival Interceltique de Lorient at the Espace Bretagne stage last year. The track features on their 2018 Brother Wind EP.
