We have the pleasure of sharing with you ‘These Hours’, the latest song and video from Saskia Griffiths-Moore‘s forthcoming studio album, ‘Ocean of Stars’. She describes the album as Brit-Country – contemporary and exploratory songwriting drawing on Roots, Folk and Americana. She shared the following on the song and video:
“This song is an ode to friendship, to that one person who you can really talk to about everything, and to what a difference those hours make. I hope we all have someone like that in our lives! I wrote this song for mine.”
This narrative driven ballad combines a simple, meaningful message of thanks, with intimate real-life details, and is touchingly filmed with the friend spoken about, in their favourite locations in London, where they really have spent ‘These Hours’.
‘These Hours’ is the second track on Saskia’s upcoming album, which is gaining traction as a whole with radio play and glowing commentary on BBC Wales, BBC Scotland, and BBC Ulster to name but a few, as well as an early personal review from Phil Beer (Show of Hands) “A great album, by a fine singer songwriter”.
