As we are now in March, this week’s show is themed around the Hare. It’s around this time of the year that they are often seen boxing and leaping in the air. These strange antics led to that old term “mad as a March hare”. As you can see there is no shortage of folk songs relating to the hare…from the pursuit of the poor creature to that of superstition and magic… “So the lady she turned into a hare And she ran across the plain…” The Two Magicians.
