Diane Cluck, one of America’s leading voices from the world of contemporary folk music, kicks off her UK Tour next month comprising of a series of concerts & special workshops.
She will be leading a “Singing & Collaborative Songmaking Workshop” in five cities: London, Lancaster, Sheffield, Chichester and Oxford. The workshops are created for every/anyone regardless of previous experience:
“Diane relates the joy of singing through experiential exercises focusing on personal expression and physical sensation. We’ll touch on intuitive ways of singing harmony and learn how to join in on a song even when hearing it for the first time. The workshop progresses into collaborative song-making through improvisation in an encouraging environment. Tools shared are adaptable for those looking to either begin or deepen their personal singing and songwriting practice.”
Joining Diane on tour will be a series of special guests including Wes Swing who will join Diane for the first four shows, his first-ever in England. Diane and Wes are good friends, some of you may recall from our video premiere of Mirrors, a song inspired by the historical lighthouse keeper Ida Lewis, that alongside Diane played the role of Ida:
