Described as A rising voice in the new generation of singer-songwriters, Kora Feder is very much up to the task of confronting the times we live in. She has accumulated a wealth of experience which is by no means the norm for someone so young. As the press release states… From living in Asia and Europe with a backpack and a guitar while working for various International NGO’s to the apocalyptic realization of returning home to modern America, these are the songs of a young woman coming of age and holding her own.
Her return to modern-day America becomes the focus of her inspirational and fresh-sounding new single Dance with Me, a song which whilst calling for change shines a very bright light for dark times. Kora shared the following:
“So much of this album was written as I returned from college and traveling, moved to New York City and became a working member of modern America. There’s a lot of questioning, worrying and displeasure in what the world has to offer. This song is a cry for change, a cry for a better country and a fairer world. But I also see it as a reminder to take a deep breath despite it all. It’s so easy to feel hopeless in the individual plight for some greater good. This is a push to do whatever you can to work for change, but also a reminder that amidst the disorderly clamor of it all, everyone is looking to be loved.”
Dance with Me is taken from Feder’s first full-length album, In Sevens, an honest and poetic testament to the modern age which is due for release on 2nd April 2019.
Currently calling Brooklyn NY home, Kora Feder will tour the US in support of In Sevens, continue to write
songs, and work for the betterment of humanity.
