Bâton Bleu (Blue Stick) are an inventive duo from Rennes, France who combine the harmonic vocals of Maria Laurent with the growling vocals of Gautier Degandt. Between them, they play a range of unusual instruments including the Mongolian luth and kalimba. Together, they create a unique sound that is both modern and primitive, neo folk that is influenced by music from the USA to Central Asia, Africa and the Mediterranean.
