Back in July, we shared the news that Scottish folk pioneers Lau had announced the release of their new album Midnight and Closedown (February 8th, 2019) which has been produced by John Parish. This is their first new music since 2015’s ‘The Bell That Never Rang’.
The trio are clearly excited about getting out there to share their new music… “Kris has, at last, got the plectrums out from when he dropped them into the guitar at the end of the last tour, Aidan has given the fiddle its annual tuning, and Martin has found the van keys behind the microwave. It must be tour time!”
Indeed it is, see their upcoming tour dates below. They have also shared live versions of Riad and Toy Tigers which were recorded at August’s Edinburgh International Festival. Watch below:
