Next month, Chris Wood embarks on his autumn tour beginning in Scotland and including Tolbooth Stirling and Glasgow’s The Hug and Pint, before heading south for dates in Leeds, Birmingham, Oxford, London, Brighton and more (see details below).
It was in 2017 that Chris Wood graced us with his latest album So Much To Defend. It was a Featured Album of the Month in his review of which, Thomas Blake observed: “Wood’s approach is that of the impassioned troubadour, and his success comes from the way he meshes the personal with the political in a way that is subtle but often astonishing.”
Around the tour of that album, Chris shared a great video which opened with an insight into his love of a particular sandwich…
That same year, Chris demonstrated further talents when he took to the production chair for Twelfth Day’s ‘Cracks in the Room‘ and Kathleen Turner’s EP ‘The Lines Between Us’.
As Thomas said in his review of So Much to Defend, Chris Wood is “a national treasure in folk music circles”. Now’s your chance to catch him on tour…you know what to do.
