Trio Dhoore, that talented band of musical brothers from Flanders in Belgium, will return to the UK in November on tour (dates below). Anyone that has witnessed their live performance will know that they not only score highly for their traditional Flemish tunes, songs and compositions but also for their humour and banter which is often at the expense of Koen, their hurdy-gurdy player. Not to be missed!
They have been playing together for twenty years and whilst those formative years may have been in the forest or attic they say there is little that has changed in concept since they took to the stage – they still “playfully create their own imaginary world in which no rules apply and it is blissful.”
They have three strong albums under their belt with a fourth rumoured to be arriving soon. They’re much loved by UK audiences so be sure to book your tickets early as there are a lot of traditional folk music fans looking forward to their return. The band are also looking forward to the tour: “We’re getting ready for a lot of coffee, sausages and of course a bunch of Flemish folk tunes!”
Taken from their last album Momentum (2016), here they are performing Endless Dancing in the studio.
