Earlier this year we reviewed All My Swim, the debut album from Bristol band Faeland on which Neil McFadyen enthused “All My Swim is a debut that does far more than impress, it delights.”
They head out on tour at the end of this month (dates below). The core duo of Rebecca Nelson and Jacob Morrison will be joined by Martin Solomon (Celtic harp, violin, accordion) and Lizzie Tucker (double bass).
Stroud, Bath and Glastonbury gigs will be performed in classic Faeland style: in an intimate setting, with limited audience numbers and minimal amplification. Songs will be performed on an all-acoustic line up of acoustic guitars, lush vocals, double bass, violins, accordion and Celtic harp. This round of gigs sees front-woman Rebecca Nelson picking up her violin for the first time in Faeland, adding to the already beautiful violin melodies of Martin Solomon. Audience members can expect to hear songs from the band’s acclaimed debut album “All My Swim” as well as the new material.
Advance bookings highly recommended.
